Mica is a M.A. Psychological Science student in the Cognitive Hearing Laboratory at Toronto Metropolitan University. In 2019, she graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from University of Guelph- Humber, in Toronto. She is fascinated with memory and how the brain declines with age. Her current research investigates multiple environmental mechanisms (e.g., loneliness, social isolation, etc.) in adult-onset hearing loss, and its relationship to cognitive impairments and dementia.
In her spare time, she enjoys taking care of her rabbits, hiking and learning Italian language and literature at OISE University of Toronto.
