Rachel Bedder is a research volunteer in the Cognitive Hearing Laboratory. She is currently in her fourth and final year working toward a psychology degree. In the future, she hopes to obtain a Master of Social Work (MSW) and serve populations in a clinical setting. Rachel’s research interests include social and emotional well-being in patients with hearing loss. Her honours thesis is exploring emotion production ability in cochlear implant users and the potential for improvement in emotional intonations through musical training.
When Rachel is not studying, you can find her bothering her two dogs, playing the piano, or watching movies (exclusively thrillers).
