Tierra is a fourth-year undergraduate psychology student and research assistant in The Cognitive Hearing Laboratory at Toronto Metropolitan University. Since joining the lab in January 2023, she has been involved in research focused on age-related hearing loss and the interaction between vision and hearing.
After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, she aspires to pursue a Masters in Occupational therapy or Speech and Language Pathology. She intends to use her background in psychology to help individuals overcome communication and functional challenges and improve their quality of life.
In her free time she enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, and expressing her creativity through crocheting and knitting.
