I use electrophysiology, behavioral studies, and computational methods to understand how the listening brain understands and reacts to what it hears. Broadly, I am interested in translating this research into applications for hearing assessment or enhancement.

Currently I focus my research on tinnitus and why it develops when hearing is damaged. As a secondary interest, I investigate how a normal-hearing brain predicts what it is about to hear through the dimension of time.
